The Workqueue ("we," "us") is a jobs board and community for Epic systems analysts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The Workqueue is operated by [operator legal entity]. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect
- Account: your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password (or, if you use Google sign-in, your Google account identifier and email).
- Profile: the details you add — modules, seniority, location — and, if you upload one, your resume.
- Activity: jobs you save, alerts you create, and content you post in the forum or send in messages.
- Usage: a first-party cookie and a limited, hashed record of your network address, used to run the free-article meter and to protect the site from abuse. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To provide the service: authentication, your profile, saved jobs, alerts, forum, and messaging.
- To send transactional email you asked for — email verification, job alerts, and new-message notifications.
- To keep the community safe: spam detection, moderation, and rate limiting.
Service providers we share with
We use a small set of processors to run the service, and share only what each needs:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, transactional email, and encrypted file storage for resumes.
- Anthropic — automated moderation and classification of publicly posted community content.
- Anti-abuse providers (e.g. Akismet, Cloudflare Turnstile) — spam and bot detection.
- Product analytics and error monitoring — only when enabled, and never for advertising.
We do not sell your personal information.
Email choices
Every non-essential email carries an unsubscribe link, and message-notification emails can be turned off without affecting job alerts. Email required to secure your account (such as verification) is transactional and not subject to unsubscribe.
Retention
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account, after which we remove or de-identify your personal data except where we must retain it to comply with the law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact [email protected] and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Scraped job content
Some listings are short, attributed excerpts that link out to the original source. That content belongs to its publisher; this policy governs the information you provide directly to The Workqueue.

We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above.
